And then there were 4……

So last week were some great games and when I say great games I mean the Jets vs Patriots game. I went 2-0 last week Im so happy and hope that can be done again this week.

Two match ups

Jets vs Steelers:

So in Week 15 Jets were able to squeeze by the Steelers in a 22-17 win. Jets are a pretty hot Team right now beat Colts and Pats. No team in NFL history has done that before in the playoffs to beat them back-to-back respectively. I will tell you right now though if the Jets play like they did against the pats there is a good chance of a win. That will mean La Damion Tomlinson and Holmes or as I like to call him (Sherlock Holmes). Will have do be at the top of their game everyone else does as well.

Packers vs Bears:

They played twice Week 3 and 17 Packers lost and won respectfully. This will be a pretty intense and fun game to watch. I will still go with my pick the Packers to Make it to the Super Bowl. Should be a fun and gritty game for two teams who want it bad.

Ravens vs Steelers

I will take my chances with the Ravens this week with Pomalu injured he wont be as effective and defense is key in this game. Will be low scoring game but it’s the Ravens turn to shine.

Packers vs Falcons

Well I have Packers going to the Superbowl this year. So I hope they win they got some talent taking apart the Eagles. Like I said earlier though Falcons are a good team yes but there season ends Saturday.

Seahawks vs Bears

Nobody saw them getting past the Saints…and they did. Nobody sees them getting past the Bears…and they wont! Bears defense will hold them to 20 points max most likely 17. But if Seahawks do what they did in Week 6 sack Cutler multiple times get an early lead. They can pull away but the difference is though that the Bears have become a better team since then protecting cutler and Peppers will be huge in this game.

Jets vs Patriots   

The J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS played very well against Indianapolis. They will beat the Patriots. They need to play like the team they were in Week 2 sack Brady and make sure that you get the ball to Keller.

Hey people I went a way 1 week in nice tropics of miami florida. Its a bit late for this but I was SHOCKED by some of the stuff that went on. Lets start

Seahawks Take Down Defending Champs the Saints

What the hell happened here?! Seahawks get in on last possible day and they play the Saints (who despite a slow start started to show their colors and we could see a possible repeat). Hasslebeck has the game of his life 4 TDs. Saints could do nothing even with a late rally which fell short.

Jets Take Down the Colts 

This was a messy game no doubt but a win is a win. Jets went for blood and they got it. Its gutsy what was done to be down by 2 with 53 seconds to go and they win. Thats what a playoff team is about despite being down you ALWAYS find a way to win.

Knicks Dispatch Spurs

When I heard that Spurs were coming to town. I was worried sure this game didnt matter much since Spurs were in the west and Knicks in the east. Every game matters though! The Knicks shown they could beat the hottest team in NBA. Now all they need is to beat the Heat and Celtics.

Auburn defeats Oregon

 I had my bet on the Ducks this game and they should have won. Both teams though have played poorly. The Ducks defense at times was pretty impressive but other than that it was a mess. They found a weakness in Newton but couldn’t convert many interceptions and turnovers. Perhaps that Auburn was number was was because they could find ways to win and in the end thats what they did.

Happy New Year!

Since the begging on the game Miami heat has been brining it. I am going to break down the game quarter by quarter.

1st Quarter:

The heat has brought their defense and Kobe, Artest, and Gasol had 0 points after the first. Bosh was the leader with 12 points Lebron 8 points Wade 2 points. Miami was up 20-14.

2nd Quarter:

Half way through the second Lakers only had 23 points another attest to heats defense. Lebron and Wade 8 points Bosh with 12 but Ilgauskas  starts pounding in 3’s. Lakers have a nice 2nd half with 24 points. Heat up by 9, 47-38.

3rd Quarter:

Lakers are putting some points together a nice string of 10 points to bring the gap to 8. Heat turn up their defense and pull away further never looking back. The Lakers are frustrated by Miami’s defense. They seem to be playing keep away from Lakers passing around scoring from all angles. Magic Johnson said, ” Miami is the best passing team is the NBA”. We are witnessing that tonight. Phil Jackson sits Kobe with 2 minutes to go. Probably to let him play the full 4th Quarter. Miami up after the 3rd 75-64.

4th Quarter:

Miami holds Lakers to 5 points in first 10 minutes. They then pull to the biggest lead of the game 17 points. Lakers cant get much done but score 11 more points as the Heat out last the Lakers 96-80. 

The Heat has played like they are the “team to beat” tonight. Does this mean the Heat will win it all? Will they meet the Lakers in NBA Finals for the trophy. If they play the way they do they have a good shot at it. Nothing is definite though every team should look at this game and see that this is the way to win play with passion and like you want it. Congrats to the Heat on a great Christmas win! 

The Knicks have beat Bulls earlier this season November 4th to the score of 120-112. That was without their star Boozer playing this was before Knicks got in rhythm. The kincks have come a long way since that November 4th and even earlier since there short three game losing streak Celtics,Heat, and Cavs. In the Knicks previous game yes Amare had less than 30 points but he spread the points around 6 players in double digits thats pretty good. We saw Knicks start some form of defense its what they need. If you saw that Blocked shot by Amare against Westbrooke it was EPIC. Boozer is playing again but Noah is out with thumb injury.

So the Knicks have to watch out for Rose and Boozer. Double team them and don’t let them get the ball. If Amare, Chandler, Gallinari, Feilds,and Felton have 15 points or more they will win. Lets mention some off the Bench players from last game Turiaf only 7 points but a much needed 7 points. Also seems like Douglas is getting back into it feeling better. Also They need to guard Luol Deng who has averaged 20-21 points since 2007. I will call it Knicks win 110-105

Steelers beat Panthers- The big D man for the Steelers is out polamalu till playoffs this game they don’t need him playing the lowly panthers.

Cowboys beat Cardinals- Cowboys have been on a role since hiring there new coach Cardinals haven’t played well at all though either had only two touchdowns in last 4 games.

Patriots beat Bils- Patriots are still too hot to handle and will rip apart Bills. Take advantage of Bills defense, which is all over the place.

Jets beat Bears- Both teams have won last week but jets big win against Steelers have boosted their spirits not to say that this will be an easy game but its like “hey we beat the Steelers” by the way they are first in opponent rushing yards.

Ravens beat Browns- Ravens are getting back to normal after a painful week 13 loss to Steelers. Browns have had a set back after embarrassing loss to Bengals the previous week.

Chiefs beat Titans- Chiefs are shocking everyone usually the Chargers have the late surge to win the AFC West but they may be done this season. Plus Titans are sucky they are the tam that everybody loves to beat on.

Rams beat 49ers- Rams are doing very well this season and will make the playoffs this year another team everyone likes to beat up on.

Lions beat Dolphins-So this is my upset game of the week nothing against you Miami fans but you guys are hurt and done for the season. So are the lions but seeing Dolphins lose to pathetic bills and Lions beat Bucs. Enough said!

Jaguars beat Redskins- Redskins another disgrace of a season I would have thought you would have a winning record even with McNabb they suck.

Chargers beat Bengals- This year the Chargers late season comeback has come a bit too late. They aren’t out yet but one mess up and they are finished. Luckily this week they can beat up on the Bengals.

Texans beat Broncos- Texans season is over it’s a shame after a brush with the playoffs last year you thought they would make it this year but I guess not.

Colts beat Raiders- This was a tough choice but the Raiders are really unlucky they have a tough last two games and these games both they need to win but of course it has to be Colts and Chiefs. Maybe next year guys I would be happy seeing Raiders in the playoffs and prove me wrong.

Giants beat Packers- Yes, Aaron Rodgers is back but he has been injured and wont be able to play at the top of his game. They played very well vs Eagles till the end where they collapsed but the packers aren’t the Eagles. 

Bucs beat Seahawks- Bucs are ready to erase embarrassing loss to Lions in OT. Bucs aren’t going anywhere this year unfortunately because of their tough division. Seahawks loss and Rams win will square away NFC West.

Eagles beat Vikings- Eagles are Hot and Vikings are nothing to them but last week vs Giants we saw a Weakness they had despite the come back win.

Falcons beat Saints- Falcons will have a bit of a matchup this weekend but they will win stats show that Ryan is playing better than Brees anything can happen on any given day. Falcons have done it before but Saints have picked up rhythm since then. I will talk about the playoff teams in two weeks or so. SPOILER: Falcons will lose first round just like Chiefs did in 2003. A little history for those who don’t remember the Chiefs finished 13-3 hosted the Indianapolis Colts in first playoff game no punts and got beat (38-31)
